Evolution of Internet and Wed Authorization

What is Internet??

Internet is a worldwide collection of networks that connects million of business , government agencies, education institution ,and individual. Therefore, in this era modernization, internet this technology have been widely used in anything to convenient for human life .

History of Internet

In the 1950s, communication researchers realized the need to allow regular communication between different computer users and communication networks. This led to the study of decentralized networks, queuing theory and packet switching.

In 1960, the ARPA network established by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) for the Cold War triggered technological advancement and made it the center of Internet development. In 1973, the ARPA network expanded to the Internet, and the first computers were connected to the UK and Norway.

In 1974, Robert Kahn of ARPA and Vinton Gray Cerf of Stanford proposed the TCP/IP protocol, which defines the method of transmitting messages between computer networks (they also won the Turing Award in 2004). On January 1, 1983, the ARPA network Change its network core agreement from NCP to TCP/IP.

In 1986, the National Science Foundation established the backbone network NSFNET, which is an important step in the history of the Internet. In 1994, NSFNET was converted to commercial operations. In 1995, as the Internet opened up to business, other important networks that Were successfully accessed in the Internet included newsgroups, BITNET, and a variety of commercial X.25 networks.

In the 1990s, the entire network was opened to the public in August 1991, and Tim Bernez-Lee began to promote his World Wide Web project two years after the establishment of HTML, HTTP and the first few pages of the Swiss European Nuclear Research Organization In late 1994, public interest grew steadily on the Internet of pre-academic and technology. In 1996, the term "Internet" (internet) was widely circulated, but it refers to almost the entire global information network.

Since 1995, the Internet has tremendously impacted culture and commerce, including the rise of near instant communication by email, instant messaging, telephony (Voice over Internet Protocol or VoIP), two-way interactive video calls, and the World Wide Web with its discussion Forums, blogs, social networking, and online shopping sites. Increasing amounts of data are transmitted at higher and higher speeds over fiber optic networks operating at 1-Gbit/s, 10-Gbit/s, or more. The Internet continues to grow, Driving by ever greater amounts of online information and knowledge, commerce, entertainment and social networking. During the late 1990s, it was estimated that traffic on the public Internet grew by 100 percent per year, while the mean annual growth in the number of Internet users Was thought to be between 20% and 50%. This growth is often attributed to the lack of central administration, which allows organic growth of the network, as well as the non-proprietary nature of the Internet Protocols, which encourages vendor interoperability and prevents any one company from exerting too much control over the network. As of 31 March 2011, the estimated total number of Internet users was 2.095 billion (30.2% of world population). It is estimated that in 1993 The Internet carried only 1% of the information flowing through two-way telecommunication, by 2000 this figure had grown to 51%, and by 2007 more than 97% of all telecommunicated information was carried over the Internet.

Wed Authorization

Wed Authorization is a process by which a server determines if the client has permission to use a resource or access a file. So that, wed authorization is usually coupled with authentication so that the server has some concept of who the client is that is requesting access. The authentication is required password to confirm identity, but the popular wed page are not to require authorization and authentication.
